Eivind Farestveit Larsen

Eivind Farestveit Larsen is CEO of Searas AS, a Norwegian technology company developing solutions for water quality, production optimisation and aquaculture. He holds an MSc in Physics and has extensive experience of leading large, complex technology projects.

At Searas, he works with a multidisciplinary team with expertise in water chemistry, process technology, biological production systems and digitalisation. Their shared ambition is to understand the underlying mechanisms that affect fish welfare, growth and production performance.

Through sensors, software, water treatment and process solutions, Searas and its subsidiary, OptiRAS, work to translate research, measurement data and operational insight into practical tools for the aquaculture industry. Their focus is on bridging technology and biology so that fish farmers can make better-informed decisions, increase production capacity and develop more robust production systems.
