Finn Weltzien

Finn Weltzien is Director for the Aquaculture Division at Nofima. He is a trained zoophysiologist from the University of Bergen, and his research has focused particularly on the regulation of puberty and sexual maturation in fish. Since 2008, he has been a Professor at the Norwegian University of Life Sciences (NMBU).

Weltzien has extensive leadership experience from the university sector and serves on the boards of several innovation centres. With a strong commitment to innovation, he will chair the panel discussion on how knowledge can be translated into improved survival.
