Kristoffer Lindback Larsen

Kristoffer Lindback Larsen is Founder and CTO of Evolys AS. Since its establishment in 2014, Evolys has taken a scientific approach to the use of technology-based lighting in Atlantic salmon and trout farming. As a Norwegian research and technology company, its work has focused primarily on understanding how optimal techno-economic performance and fish health can be achieved through sound biology, light physics and technology.

In his presentation, “The Future of Light”, Kristoffer will discuss fundamental principles of light physics as a basis for producing salmon and trout more profitably and sustainably. Today, we know that light and technology-based lighting can make an important contribution to both.
