Christian Rønning

Christian Rønning works with Business Development at Artec Aqua VAQ. He has a Master of Science in Environmental Technology from the University of Manchester. Christian worked for ten years in the paper industry in Austria before moving back to Norway in 2011 and starting as a project manager for aquaculture projects at Krüger Kaldnes. From 2017 he led the process department at Krüger Kaldnes and what became Pure Salmon Technology, before taking the job as business development manager at VAQ, now Artec Aqua VAQ, in 2025. Through his work, Christian has led major RAS projects and contributed to technology optimisation and development of expertise within RAS, both internally and externally. The right plant solution for the right water quality has been a central theme throughout Christian’s work in aquaculture.
