Ståle Walderhaug, 51, holds a PhD in computer science and IT systems development and has more than 25 years of experience at SINTEF. His work there has included IT solutions for the Norwegian Armed Forces Joint Medical Services, the development of FiskInfo—a digital tool widely used along the Norwegian coast—and projects for the smolt-production sector.
“Throughout my career, I have seen how research can create value when it is closely connected to real-world needs,” says Walderhaug, who will speak about FHF’s role in the further development of the seafood industry.
