About the conference

“Smolt Production in the Future” is intended for anyone interested in smolt and post-smolt production, grow-out on land and closed containment systems on land and in the sea. Biannually since 2008, 2-300 participants from industry, government, students, researchers and investors have attended the conference.

This year’s programme will feature presentations from salmon producers, suppliers and researchers from Norway and abroad.

The conference is open to both Norwegian and foreign participants. Professional interpreters will simultaneously interpret Norwegian lectures into English.
