She holds a master&#8217;s degree in fisheries science from the Norwegian College of Fishery Science, and spent a summer semester at UC Berkeley through the Norwegian School of Entrepreneurship (Gr\u00fcnderskolen) at the University of Oslo. Sigrun joined Mowi in 2021. Until this year, she was a biological controller at Sand\u00f8ra, where she worked on smolt production and running recirculating aquaculture systems (RAS). In her talk on data-driven smolt production, she will use her experience from hatchery operations and from seeing new technology in San Francisco.
