Kristina S. Hansen knows the coast very well. She grew up in a fishing family on the Faroe Islands and is a qualified teacher.\u00a0She was mayor of Nordkapp Municipality for twelve years (2007 \u2013 2019) before serving two years as County Councillor for Transport in Troms and Finnmark County Authority. Last year, she joined the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries.<\/p>\n
The political leadership in the fisheries section of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries consists of Minister of Fisheries and Ocean Policy Bj\u00f8rnar Selnes Skj\u00e6ran, State Secretary Kristina Sigurdsdottir Hansen and State Secretary Vidar Ulriksen \u2013 all representing the Labour Party.
